Thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving is always a good day. Lots of food, family, and fun. And the nice thing about this holiday is that it is not at my house. I usually have to cook most of the holiday/birthday meals except for Thanksgiving ....and I am thankful. I was talking with Russ this morning about what we are thankful for...and it was really good to remember everything we are thankful for. The heart of thankfulness is missing in society today. We live in a world of "I need this, what can you do for me, and if I only had this" everything would be better. God has blessed me with a wonderful family and great friends and I am THANKFUL.

Life and Learning

At one time in my life, I thought I had a brain that functioned. But the older I get, I now realize intelligence fades fast. I watch my daughter speed around the computer, chatting with 10 different friends at one time while doing some crazy essay for school and I struggle to change the background on this site for an hour. How does this happen? A brain must be challenged. I think mine is stuck in a low gear. Maybe I should get back to the basics like Isaac with his crayons and set my mind on learning new things. Something to think about....Kim

Today is tuesday

Today is only tuesday but it feels like I have been going all week long. Tooo much work and not enough sleep. God is so good and gets me though each day and I am so grateful. I love spending time with my friends and they are such a blessing. Should my random thoughts be on the internet for all to read? I need to learn how to up/down load pictures.
