This is a picture of the Mark Twain walking trail in Columbia. Mariah took this picture a week after Toni and I was there. The picture does not do it justice. This trail was absoulutely beautiful. I would consider that day a "perfect day" I have had very few of these days in my life that I would consider perfect. NO electronics, phones, and outside distractions just the natural beauty of the Lord and fellowship with a sweet friend. It did not seem like a work out although we did walk almost 5 miles. Life is way toooooo busy..especially my life. The quiet beauty of nature shared with a friend is still to this day indescrible. I look at this picture with a happy heart. When my life is crazy (which it usually is) sweet memories like these are good to draw from and let peace fall on my heart. Thank you Lord for the beauty You created and thank you Toni for sharing it with me.Monday, January 18, 2010
